I know this is a buggy forum but has anyone fairly local to Redditch got or know of a Beetle for sale? My mate is after one to restore but after looking at loads on eBay they are either too far away or piles of sh*t! He has about £1000 to £1200 for as early a car as possible. We can borrow a car and trailer to collect.

I have also been looking for a project on a much more modest budget, around £500. Although I would love a buggy I know this won't get me anywhere really and I don't just want a chassis lying around for months so I was thinking of buying a cheap project with the intention of turning it into a Baja. I have lots of time and enthusiasm (at the moment) but with having recently moved, not the funds. If you can help, let me know! Cheers guys

I might have the solution to both problems.im selling a redatore swb buggy,1300,irs/ball joint, new undrilled shell with sidepods£1800.and im picking up a 73 1303 its been sat in a lock up for 10 years,£250.07855 542195

Well that would be fantastic if it was the other way around the buggy sounds like a really good deal, just too much for me at the moment. The 1303 though, any more info/pictures on condition? And is it in Accrington? Cheers for the reply
