Well its been a long year since i drove the buggy, But after the replacement engine and clutch issues it has onceagain sailed though the mot just in time for winter ;D
The engine runs as as sweet as a nut (A BIG Thanks to Farmer Rob) and now the clutch has stopped spinning (Weak spring plate) i can finally get some miles in before the weather turns.

Thought will it was up on the ramps would get a quick shot of underneath,  ;-)up

Steve,

Firstly bud, noooooooooooooooo!! This is one of the two buggies that made the decision for me to build one.......

Seriously though, if it's got to go, fair enough. I'd buy it in an instant apart from the fact I couldn't afford it and the wife says no more toys!!! A bit of a crap answer but it's worth what someone will pay for it. It's clearly top end of the market, there is no doubting that. What that top end is, is anyone's guess.

The buggy market seems to be a fickle thing right now. Some excellent buggies like Lil Boys which is very well built and very well priced not shifting and then others going for huge money.....

Seems a lot of the big money buyers are European. I know of three that have gone to the continent in the last 12 months or so, all for very good money. I'd suggest advertising it somewhere where that market is likely to see it. I think The Samba is still free to advertise in and a decent place to start, as well as here, perhaps VZi and maybe eBay. Not sure if you are doing any more shows this year but it might be worth getting it to a couple and showing it off and making clear it's for sale. Word of mouth goes a ling way it seems in VW circles.

And I know what the other buggy was that made you want one !
;-)

Agree with Ben on aiming for it to go abroad.
Guess they just get more use out there meaning they are worth having more.

Yes Ben and Dan are spot on in my opinion. Funny market at the moment (lil's, Sam's and others not shifting) but certainly try to market it to europe. Shame you have to sell but good luck all the same  ;-)up
