I have a 1300 lwb and would like to change my stick, I feel I have a lot of travel and have herd that a change of stick will limit the travel and give better change, what is a good stick to look at and from who.

This is the cheap option to what you need, otherwise fit an empi gear lever

Also, while you are at it, make sure the bushes on the rod in the tunnel are sound. Certainly the quick shift plate or gear stick are what you are after, but its important the bushes are fine to ensure good positive changes.

WHS^^^ Thoroughly check the nylon bush in the tunnel just to the rear of the shifter, and the coupling at the back onto the gearbox.

If there's play in either a new shifter or quickshift kit will not work properly.

Just take the gear lever out to check the front bush and the cover at the rear to check the selector knuckle on the end of the gearbox.
