Well am still going..... But have hit a slight hitch!

Driving tonight and lost ALL electrical power - so yes, broken terminal on negative on battery. Of course it's furthest and hardest to get too. And a right royal pain. Anyway all I could do was temporary fix the broken ring terminal tight against the nut/bolt of the battery. So as long I don't drive over any speed humps too quickly, I might be all ok (fingers crossed!)

I was going to head up to Skeggy after the show and back home the next day, but now it's straight there and back to the show.

(That snags list is getting longer! Lol)

thats ok mate bring a few tools and we will fit a new set at the show easy peesy

Cheers shaggy, it may not be that simple, but at least I m at the right show to buy the parts!

surely its not that hard mate, we will have 6 or 7 blokes there that could probably fix it in the dark with gaffa tape and a bungi strap 

Yes, we'll have the body off and engine anf gearbox out before lunch. That should leave plenty of access to the battery.

Andrew! Don't be so daft  hopefully you will be able to find a new terminal/terminal's at the show, I use
some neat ones that take the 'eye' ended cable on an M8 stud, liking those because they don't
bugger up the main cable and can be released easily.

There were 20 buggies there today, not sure how many are going tomorrow.

For those that went on Sunday - That was a cracking turnout, really good to see you all and especially to meet up and put some new names and faces to some of the Buggies seen on here.




Liz is happy also, as thats the first time we have returned from Stoneleigh with the same number of cars that we went up there with for a long time.
