Whilst looking through the build threads for last months award, it soon became apparent just how much hard work some of you guys and girls have put into your cars, and it gave us an idea for our next award.

The Moderators Medals Monthly Award for June 2013 is for . . . .

Best Transformed Buggy

and is awarded to:

Jeff and his amazing Tramp. Having seen this Buggy in the sun at Swanage last year, I can honestly say that the pictures do not do it justice. the scratch built bonnet and stunning paintwork are simply awesome.

I would just like to add on behalf of the Moderators, that this has again been very hard to decide. Some of the runners up (sorry no prizes) also deserve a mention here and will show just how hard this was for us to choose.


We also loved Micky B`s Before and after shots that show how much a shell can be transformed with some serious hard grafting and quite a bit more than just a lick of paint








And a really dramatic change for Snoopy & Vicky`s Buggy, with their shell swap. Although we mustn`t underestimate the amount of work that went into this one also, we did feel it was cheating a little, but as it was such a nice Buggy, it had to be included.







So . . .  The big question remains . . .

Good call, moderators!!!  I think Jeff's buggy looks great after the work he put in on an old buggy shell build. It is a lot easier to make buggies look good with all new stuff

Thanks for the comments but ours was just a quick rebuild, Jeff took on a major project and many hours of sweat and toil later ended up with a personalised old buggy to be proud of.
