Photo time.

I will try and post some of my snapshots later on and may be a video of the cruise (though that didn't quite go to plan for me  :-[ ) But in the mean time, here are some photos taken NOT by me but by a lady who was there.

Its a link to her Facebook gallery - but will work even for you non-FB'ers.

This is the pub that we all met up in.....

Here's some of my iPhone snapshots -

First at the pub, I forget to take any sooner, was just settling into my lolly and the rest of them, said, right we're off (I swear they were trying to give me the slip!)

Then a quick cruise to Leigh on Sea. Managed to get the buggies on the sand... (sorry meant the sand that was spilt onto the cobbled road - well it was close)

And did we panic? Of course not..... "No officer... of course mine is a white beetle..... ::) ::)

Oh and my top tip for the day... if you do get one of those clever GoPro cameras and charge it up ready for the day, make sure you turn the power off on the journey down or it will be flat when you actually want to use it!  :-[ :-[    Good job I had a back up plan!

An absolutely cracking day!!! But you may have seen that from the various posts on FB.

Indeed I would love to make a regular thing of it ;-)

;-)up Sounds good to me Aaron, no reason why we can't have our own Rad buggy days at the seafront on a more regular basis  ;-)up

Both myself and George (my son) had a great day out - especially the cruise along the front - how much attention did we draw?!  ;D

I've got some photos from the day here https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153108274575425.1073741831.720805424&type=1&l=c17d692b50

Roll on the next one!
