Hi all has any one come up with a good
Way of fitting the roof to the screen I know
It sits under the front lip but the screen flexes
And the roof can lift   Any thoughts?
Thanks garry

easiest way as per Mel is to just get a bit of 2x2. paint it the same colour as the roof. and screw through the roof from the top into the wood to fix it right in front of the screen.
you could just use a piece about 6 inches long, even use that to fit an interior mirror too perhaps?
you could use pretty stainless button head bolts to make it look better from the outside?

or jazz it up a bit, i was going to use a bit of stainless tube, a few inches in diameter. you could use the tube to hold sunglasses or something?

for reference...
the changing logo at the top of screen shows my buggy ( it the blue one, alone on the beach)
and you can just see the bar I fitted above the interior mirror to hold the roof tight to the screen. it sort of sandwiches the roof lip so it cant go anywhere.

some toad has stolen my laptop though, so Ive lost most of my build photos :-(

The important question is, of course, ears in or out?!

I went ears in as I didnt have a roll hoop, and didnt want to drill the body.
if I was to fit another one now.... Id go ears out I think.

so thats me sitting on the fence then !  ;D

Flatlands do a kit.

I made my own ones from two bits of stainless so they clamp both sides of the screen (though not as neat as the flatlands ones)
