I have noticed that the screens come in various heights, generally 12/14 &16" and i am due to order one soon but is it a case of personal preference as to what height you get or are there other factors to consider  ?????

Sit in the buggy and get some body with a tape measure to check the different hights to make sure your eye line is not the top of the screen. The other thing is if you fit a hard top you need the correct size screen. ;-)up
make it if you can.

also depends on what look your after,
for example, mine is a street look (no roof), so at the moment has a 3" fly screen, however I have a 12' screen boxed up and ready to go on,, but it also matches the height of my cage,

Depends on the look you want too. A 16" screen is a must for an old school retro buggy

It also depnds on the angle you mount your screen.

A 12" screen mounted vertically is going to be somewhat taller than a screen at 60 degrees for example.

For what its worth I run a 16" screen but then I'm 6'1  ;D
