Well we all got there on time but DD had to go home in Graham as the boiler was leaking at home but he returned unfortunately after the race had finished.
Advertised time 12 to 5pm racing the only race finished at 12.05 and the spectators coming after missed everything apart from the steam punk ukulele band.
Great to see Dave in Graham after the rebuild earlier in the year now wearing 11.5" centrelines on the rear.
A cold drive over but a great day for sitting around chatting buggy stuff and alike. Race video is on my fb page.

Quite an odd day even by Herefordshire standards. Thanks to Keith and a partial commentary we deduced the planes take off in order of increasing speed - eg slowest first - and after some 5 laps of about 20 miles each the idea is they all cross the end line together. In fact there was a clear winner/first plane home except the commentator told us it would take about an hour for the judges to fully adjudicate that the 'winner' was the winner. Ie had not cut any corners, flown at the wrong height or flown faster than they said their aircraft could.

But definitely a lovely day of being with tolerant, humorous and buggy informed folk.

Oh and I think the next big cruise should be led by the slowest/most likely to break down followed in order to the last being the fastest/most reliable!
