They liked a buggy display we did last year so I will go along to get in free.

They'd love to have us in any number to add to the general party atmosphere. It's on my doorstep so I'd like to go along – 'free' attracts me ! – but having some prestigious MBC buggys in support would be terrific.

I gather hosting the Royal Aero Club air racing is a bit of a coup. Shobdon web site says 12 to 5pm but there's a NATS bulletin effectively closing the air space around Shobdon 10.45am to 3.45pm on the Saturday and 9.45am to 2.45pm on the Sunday with lunch breaks which tells me the flying starts before 12 on each day.

As long as its not raining I think it could be quite a head swivelling days as various planes zoom in I presume horizontal loops around the airfield.

Looks like sunday the 20th as that is race day.

Weather permitting Dubs in the Valley is Saturday 19th and those with spare fuel in their tanks and no other commitments could meet me to ride into the show on the Sunday.

We're up for both Saturday dubs in the valley as it's just up the road for us and Sunday at Shobdon as long as it's not chucking it down.

Could perhaps meet up with a few on the way into Shobdon don't mind not going directly there all adds to the day out

Their poster says racing 12 till 5pm.

I'm at Leominster 20 minutes from the airfield but am happy to meet a few 'incomers' further away and come in as a small cruise. However, once I have a time we can always meet at The Bateman Arms car park in Shobdon and go in together from there.
