Welcome. You have come to the right place for advice, source of rare/essential parts, banter and news of all things buggy.

'Events, Cruises & Gatherings' has some of the more focussed buggy meetings - and you can always post you are hosting a coffee stop at yours - great way to get on site free help !

Buggys appear for sale on here, ebay and elsewhere. It's a small world and there are plenty of things to look out for so no harm in asking about a potential purchase on here to help ensure you check the essentials etc.

Whatever buggy you get - pile of bits or finished trailer queen - you will want to make changes to suit your (and sons) taste, so a 'project' is a great aproach.

Any things on your SWB wish list - colour, engine, price range... ?

Thanks Hugh. I am not particularly fussed. A friend of mine had a volksrod and the fiberglass body was incredibly strong some look thin. I like the look of the manta Rae or the kk potentially. My one worry as seems to be everyone's is what its registered as.....

Hi PD another new buggy owner is good news and one to suit will turn up. Registration wise many old ones are still incorrect as DVLA did not widely advertise their amnesty for changes on registration back in the early 2000's where you could apply for updated description no questions asked.
There are many incorrect still in use with no problems hopefully it will stay that way.

Welcome aboard

Even those incorrectly registered can often have a quick and easy solution

For instance, If the V5 says Beetle, then stick a badge on the back that says Beetle - where is the confusion?  ;-)up

If yours says Saloon, then go to Nissan for a Badge off the Sunny
