Put my battery on charge last night as the alternator regulator is kaput. Started charging it around 6pm. Was ment to turn it off this morning before i came to work but forgot. Will this do either the battery or charger damage? it will be around 6 tonight when i get to turn it off.

Hi Aiden, if it is switched to normal charge! they should both be fine. If it is switched to any boost circuit , it will bugger your battery.

Normal 12v charge (i think) haha. The battery is brand new. ! year guarentee anyway

as Rob says and some chargers go into a monitoring mode if left on when fully charged.
some you can leave on for months over winter it just ups the electricity bill but keeps the batteries healthy.

BAttery was fine. only charged 75%  though. So just been to go buy a new charger. happy days.
