Good day.   I've got a willys jeep build on beach buggy chassis and transmission with Nissan 1400 motor.  So what happens is...when I pull off in 1st gear the jeep has a massive shudder/bounces badly.  I've sent flywheel in for machining I've replaced the shocks.  Did find te input shaft housing was broken where it bolts on to the mounting.  But it still does it.  Please help with advice or maybe if you had the same problem before.
Thanks in advance

As long as the transmission mounts are all okay it's likely to be the Bowden tube, the flexible section that carries the clutch cable from the back of the chassis to the side of the gearbox. It needs to have a bend of at least 30 or 40mm in it. Pack either end with washers if need be.

It's a common problem with a simple fix.

It should look like this...

"Ah, Beach Buggies, sure, just a quick cheap way of getting a few more years out of a rusty Beetle. You can throw one together in a weekend." anon.

I'm guessing some would be interested in your engine fitment, a common one in Africa I've noticed.
