Hi, I have converted my drum brakes on front to disc but it has made the peddle very soft and a lot of travel to brake, would the master cylinder need an up grade, I have drum on the back, would it be a mix of both systems why it's seems to be not working ok, any advise would be great.

If the pistons are a lot bigger it might need a bigger master cylinder (but in that case you'll have a huge mismatch in front to rear brakes) - definately don't still have air in the system?

I tried that too. Kingfisher didn't have them in. I got some elsewhere but they had a incorrect thread to attach to the existing fitments..
I ended up doing without. Brakes work fine, once you've pressed the pedal enough.

The problem is that drums are adjustable so don't back off further than the adjuster let's them, discs on the other hand will drift back as gar as they can.
The residual pressure valve keeps enough pressure on them to allow them to back off the disc and then stop.
Potentially dangerous without as after a long run with no braking, eg a motorway, in an emergency you may have to pump the pedal to get brakes.
