Doon SWB No.1 & No.2
Location: Kempsey, Worcestershire
50 amp for main feed wire from battery to ignition switch and fuseboard
42 amp for starter solenoid wire
25amp main feeds from fuseboard to headlight and relay switches, headlamp relay etc.
16amp for main and full beam and main feed to speedo
11amp will do for side lights and indicators.
Earth wires (brown - various sizes to match feed wires)

I use as close to VW as possible so if anyone else has to look at the wiring in the future then much easier to to trace any faults.

I do supply  bespoke wiring kits will all correct size wires and 95% correct colours where they still exist. Coe with bespoke  real easy to follow wiring circuits too. Diagrams' to suit your project. Send me a DM if interested. Can also tell you best place to buy wires as they sell by the metre so need to buy a whole reel.

Hope that helps
Chad

Cheers for the reply Chad , that explanation is bang on for my less automotive brain .

I've got a rail , less beetle and buggy layout , I'm going a bit "rogue" on where various switches are .

Similar to some buggies , I won't be having wipers , so just lights and running system . A few of the control switches on the dash , and some on the roof panel , ie over head .
