The Renegade I'm helping with will be going away for the winter, being stored in a car port. It's going to need a waterproof cover as the car port is open. Any recommendations? It's going to his Dads house, and has to look 'tidy', no blue tarps 😁

Mine lives under the carport and only the ends get wet if it is wind driven rain, rather than cover it completely as it will sweat and condensate just get something upright to protect the open side or 1/2 cover it on one side so it can breath.

I've found the Halfords ones to be very good value for money.  For situations like yours, they do one with breathable panels in the sides, lets the air flow through. I have Fiat 500 size on my SWB, it could do with being a size smaller! The Halfords covers very frequently appear on Marketplace for pennies. The two I have at the moment cost less than £30 in total, in new, and used once condition. If any cover is in any way flappy, the paintwork really suffers with abrasion, even on the non-abrasive fluffy-lined ones (and I have a feeling this lining actually makes it worse).

One of the best solutions I have seen is the Carcoon outdoor https://www.carcoon.com/product-range/vehicle/outdoor/outdoor-carcoon/ but they are expensive.  Worth keeping an eye on ebay as they do come up every now and then.   

Mine was out in a fold over type garage all year for 4 years. Great bits of kit but expensive. They do come up on flea bay so have a look. If it's swb you might get away with a motorbike one
