So I got this buggy 9/10/22
It  was on ebay as a none starter project. It been sat in a garage for over 10 years. New meyers body and new sorted floor. He said it was mostly there so I believed him lol.
Got it back to my garage and soon realised I needed alot more tools and my old man to help me. I also got my two kids involved in the biuld so handy having small hands to get the gear rod in. I found a 1600 engine on ebay for £75 couldn't believe my luck Lots of Chrome later looks fantastic I think. I can't wait to have a meet up with all you lot. Iv also like to say thanks to Allan for replying to all my stupid questions

Allan isn't the only one on here who is good at - even welcomes - 'stupid questions' since this forum has a matra that no question is stupid. So keep them coming.

The body colour gives the buggy a lovely pared down light look. Mind you that might be partly because you haven't finsished being tempted to add all the possible bling !

Has the body got a Meyers Manx serial number plate?
"Ah, Beach Buggies, sure, just a quick cheap way of getting a few more years out of a rusty Beetle. You can throw one together in a weekend." anon.
