I haven't thought about the message my approaching beach buggy is meant to convey but this one's certainly isn't "we come in peace".

I've done a little reading up on the FAV ( fast attack vehicle )  and DPV ( desert patrol vehicle ) I can't remember which came first but used air cooled but for operation desert storm they went over to a 2 litre water cooled as they realised the operational temperature / desert temps would frag the engine . Part of me wants to say it was still VW based engine .
