Hi, i'm still building my Sidewinder and looking at fixing the windscreen wipers.

The wiper unit it pretty heavy so I'm assuming that the two nuts won't sufficient to support it against the fibre glass bonnet, especially if they ever have to move!

First off is the above correct, and if it is, any guidance as to the best thing to do to help take the weight / support for the movement?

Depends on the bonnet thickness but you can put a bar off the wiper motor mount to the dash frame.

Thanks, yes it's the thickness and cracking the metalflake that's worrying me - I'll try and find a fixing - thanks
