Yesterday at VWNW we had a long conversation with the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity team. No guarantees but Angela suggested we hold the date of the 3rd August 2024 for a long awaited return to the Hospital!   She is hopeful that they will let us do something next year (the management team are all new so she will have a bit of convincing to do).  She thinks it is likely to be a similar format to the early years ie no rides and more of a show for the kids.

VWNW is on the Sunday (4th August) so potentially the return of the "Big Beach Buggy Weekend".    Fingers crossed and I will update you all on here if Angela manages to pull this off.   She did say its unlikely to make any progress this side of Christmas but we thought it worth telling you all early so dates can be put in your plans.

Fingers crossed we may get to make poorly children smile again!

Encouraging Krug. New management might actually be better able to consider 'new' ideas or suggestions so fingers crossed.

Update from Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity regarding the money raised  at Tatton / VW NW

"I'm really pleased to let you know that the total raised this year was a wonderful £1,101.13 💚.  This is lower than last year – but that's in line with the current trend for charities – cost of living is really impacting on people's giving.  And excitingly, this now brings your grand total to £27,209.45 which is just brilliant and fantastic.   Thank you."   https://rmchcharity.org.uk/

And a massive thanks from me as well.  Its fantastic that so many of you have and do support our efforts to raise cash and awareness for the Charity.
