As the title say's, I have a LWB Hustler project in bright yellow for sale. As far as I know it's the only 1 of its kind as Hustlers are all on SWB chassis (normally) The V5 states 1971 vw beach buggy in yellow. It has wide 5's with good tyres. The engine is a single port which was running when I bought lt & there's no reason why it shouldn't run once the car is rewired. I have fitted a sidewinder bonnet so the original screen is to narrow to re fit as its 41 inches wide & a 42 inch wide screen is needed. The buggy needs rewiring, the seats, roolbar, steering colomn all come with the project but need fitting. The brakes were reconditioned by the previous owner as far as I know. £1600 ovno.

Was the body moulded that way or has it been stretched? IIRC they only moulded one LWB Hustler which was the 'prototype'. If it's been stretched then it's been done very well.

It was stretched badly when I bought it & I had it professionally straightened by my good friend Peter at fibrecraft, didn't I Pete  ;D ;-)up

This is what it looked like when i bought it. It was like a banana, but it's all good now. I only bought it for the V5 tbh Dave. Pete added Ali steps to strengthen it even more.

Did it used to be yellow, then silver before that? If so it used to live by me, pretty sure it's the same car.

It was yellow then black then yellow again but I haven't seen any traces of silver anywhere. There doesn't seem to be much interest on here for it so ill be putting it on eBay soon  :D
