I'm looking for news about my old renegade buggy. I built it in 1972. It is blue with the registration number HME38K. The DVLA thinks it still exists. Can anyone help?

Welcome tax due oct 84 means it is probably one of hundreds that get locked away unloved and forgotten about, possibly sold or the owner moved as last V5 issued 1995.

  I have a purple Renegade buggy which is registered on a 1964 chassis but Ive been told the buggy was built in 1972. The buggy was originally glitter coat blue but its on a different reg No to yours.
  Ive been told there are only 3 or 4 Renegades still on the road in the UK and I know one of those is red and i think the other is white.
