Hi my battery is in the passenger side foot well, not a prob don't want to move it but what is the best way to cover it? Was going to use checker plate but been told should not cover with metal (I am not a mechanic obviously), would a plastic battery box be the best solution or any other ideas.  Advice appreciated. Cheers Deb

You can buy plastic or fibreglass battery boxes, just search online. They come in various sizes so make sure you get the right one as you don't want the battery loose in there. MOT requires batteries to be properly secured so make sure it's strapped down somehow.

Alternatively if it's just the top you want to cover you can probably find a sandwich box the right size. Definitely no metal though

Look on motorsport sites for foot rests you can get some nice ones angled so the feet are comfortable this can go in front of the battery to partly hide it.
