Most will have already seen that the carnival is cancelled; I'm speaking to the football club tomorrow to see if we can still use the site for those that still want to do a seaside get together.

Wait Out.

Well that's another pile of the body's solid waste matter, composed of undigested food, bacteria, water, and bile pigments discharged from the bowel through the anus due to CORONA.

The football club are going to use the Swanage Carnival cancellation to get some much needed work and storm damage repairs done to the clubhouse so sorry but NO we can't even just have a meet and chill for the weekend.

If anyone fancies trying to sort out a camp site around the same time/area please feel free.

Oh bummer.

Plenty of time before carnival weekend in the closed season to get work done as the league starts Aug 6th the chance of making around £500 should interest them.
Camp site wise looking before quite a few are going static and glamping so not accepting tourers and campers.

They are taking advantage of the labour that would have been allocated to other Carnival tasks. Believe me I've been there and tried but if they want it done for the new season then that's the time that power has to be cut off to do flood lights etc.

Power off is a killer but the MBC will be down in their B&b's with noisy buggies zipping around just so the locals get their annual buggy fix.

Well I've tried and due to COVID it's a firm no. All the local campsites are either already full or can't/won't take our 'family' group. I've tried village halls, scout huts and local contacts for things like farmers fields.

So there is a gap if anyone can step up and organise something¿

Well we know that the carnival as such is not happening, but I know that there are still quit a few of you coming down for the weekend as you've managed to get space in some B&Bs.
As some of you guys and gals came along last year and we had a BBQ at our place on the Saturday afternoon, we're wandering if you would like to do that again this year? If so please respond on here or a PM, just get in touch so we can sort things out as best we can.
