Steve you say: ' It sort of doesn't exist. '

I sense this is one of those Northern ideas of how to get interest in a Mystery Tour...

Just Northern optimism in action

Hopefully get a positive reply to the email, would be great if we could be a pre opening visit.

Just had a call from the museum, they're planning to open late May so that's the first hurdle.

They have a cafe onsite doing sandwiches coffee etc.

They can allocate a parking area.

For a group our size they need a timeslot so I've very provisionally booked 12.00 which wouled mean leaving the campsite by 10.45

For a group 25 plus it's £10 per adult. You get a tablet. (IT not medicinal) to guide the tour which could take up to 90 minutes. So plan to leave 14.30 ISH gives plenty of time for an onward cruise.

So can I ask that you update the list with museum yes/no and numbers of adults and children and if there's interest I'll get it booked.

Cheers
Dave and Lynn

We are up for that visit, do we need a list of folks doing the museum tour and cafe or just cafe.

Primarily the museum as they need numbers, good idea re cafe but don't know if it's a sit in or takeaway jobbie.

We will probably be ok with a few stopping in the cars if they don't want to do the museum but they need numbers and we need 25+ to get the group price. That's why I need some commitment as they'll probably want a deposit which happy to manage, so long as people turn up

I've cancelled the provisional booking for the museum as it doesn't seem popular. Understandable really, I'd rather be out and about rather than in a building particularly after Covid. Seemed a bit pricey as well for the number we could bring

Oh well

I'll repost the list of who's coming to Ashbourne next

I have been emailing Annabel the site owner about their capacity and she says:

' We are ok at the moment  with spaces on the main field electric pitches but bookings are trickling in.  I expect once we pass a few of the dates on the governments timeline all hell will break loose as it did last year (obviously if things continue on the track they anticipate).'

So if you can commit then don't miss the chance to take part or be a front row spectator to another Hugh breakdown. It won't be the clutch like last year so feel free to place your bets!

You will be fine Hugh but booking is best done early for interested parties to ensure you can get in.

Hugh's obviously worried about his butler getting his tent up.
