Breather vents into the right hand filter base, just waiting on the formed silicon hose to complete it, so will post a pic when it's done.
It basically enters the filter base plate from below, much the same as the IAT sensor does on the left side. So it's a vent, rather than a proper PCV style.

When the motor comes apart for the rebuild (pretty soon) and I have easy access to work on the heads, I might add a port into the right inlet manifold and fit a PCV valve.

As with most things, we all stand on the shoulders of giants, nicking their knowledge and recycling it. I've just read up on it and taken advice from those who've done it all before.

Having decided the throttle was too heavy and a bit too short travel, I knew if I didn't fix it now, it would get left :-/

So....

Turned up a new quadrant. Now 60mm instead of 30mm, cable travel up from 25mm to 50mm, as per the holley that was on it before.
Haven't fitted it yet, but sure it'll be way better

facilities like lathes and machines are money well spent when you need some specials.

Getting very close now. Gotta have the bonnet off to get the return line into the tank, prime the system and give it a wirl! Maybe tomorrow.

New larger throttle quadrant all fitted and working nicely.
Silicone breather all stuck together and fitted (its made of 3 x 90 degree pre formed bends, super glued onto 16mm stainless joining tubes).

Changed my mind on the trigger setup for the ecu, from using the dizzy internals, to fitting a crank mounted trigger wheel.

So made up a few bits to fit the Hall sensor and trigger wheel onto the vair....

Then stripped the guts out of the dizzy, and locked off the mechanical advance/retard mechanism. It will now just distribute the HT side of things, with the ECU controlling all spark management based on rpm, manifold absolute pressure (map) etc.

Had it's first run, plenty of messing around required yet.....

....but at least it runs.

Still learning the ropes with this DIY EFI nonsense.

Just a thought, could you put something into some of your pictures to give an idea of scale, some are obvious but s lot don't make a lot of sense until the big reveal when they are fitted. A coin maybe
