My Manx hit the road 20 years ago today according to the date on the back of these pics....

That's terrific David. Can you recreate the shot 20 years on so we can play spot the difference ?

I've moved from there (New Brighton, Wirral) now so not possible I'm afraid.

Always looks good David but why did you change the wide 5's?

I often ask myself the same question!

The rears were 10" wide, Lemmertz didn't make them that wide, Empi used to re-rim them in the US by cutting the centres out, turning them down in a lathe and welding them into dumper truck rims. Really nasty, I was never quite happy with them.

Time flies David, can't believe it's 20 years since! I'm going to try and hang on to my orange one for that long after regretting selling the blue one I did around 20 years ago also. Keep it up mate, you've always been a source of good buggy knowledge for as long as I've been into them!  ;-)up

21 years now mate, this post's nearly a year old. I recon I'll hang onto it until the government decree that motoring is no longer affordable for us plebs, 8 or 10 years maybe with this lot rushing towards electric nonsense.

How's your knob? (Hurst!) :D
