I have a reconditioned 1600 TP engine for sale. It is based on a duel relief valve AS21 case, the strongest magnesium/aluminium mix case vw made. This one was from a late fuel injected engine which has not got the hole cut out to mount a standard fuel pump, so will need an electric fuel pump. The case has just had it's first line-bore. The engine has been fully built and is on my bench so people can hear it running. However it will not be sold as a turn key engine. You will need a full exhaust system, carb and inlet manifold, fan shroud, fan and dynamo/alternator, coil and fan belt, clutch and pressure plate; which can be swapped over from your old engine or new blingie parts bought. The cases have been painted with black satin Hamerite paint.

The price is £800.00 but unlike the other engine re-builders I will give you money for your old knackered engine and not charge you more if you have not got a core-engine to exchange.
