It's a loose want.  I'm on the lookout for a SWB chassis which is correctly registered as a Beach Buggy. I don't want the hassle of going through the motions etc or the stress of losing the use of it on the road due to incorrect V5 etc etc....  I say it's a loose want as I'm keeping an eye open for one at a reasonable price, and I mean reasonable from both sides. I understand supply and demand.

If I can't find one then I will go down the Manxster 2+2 route but I felt it worth the try first.

I very much suspect a finished car is out of my price range at the moment

To update, I specified SWB but actually any correctly registered and documented Chassis short or long would be grand.

An unmodified lwb chassis wouldn't need an IVA test to get it registered as a buggy or convertible, they may want to get it inspected but as long as all the numbers match you'll be fine.
