Hi everyone, Thanks for adding me to the forum. I`m new to the Buggy world, although I`ve wanted one since I was 5 years old. I`m now 51, and the proud owner of a 1968 SWB GP1. Got a few things to do to it to make it how I want it, but there`s plenty of time for that over the colder months, for now I`m just enjoying it.
If it has tyres or tits, it`s gonna give you problems.

Hello Gaz you'll find plenty of keen buggy owners on here - happy to meet and/or give help.

Can you post a few more images of your GP and give engine specs and any plans you have to fix or 'improve' your new toy ?

To answer a few questions. I`ve been told it`s a GP1 style, not an actual GP1. I don`t care what it is, it`s mine and I love it.
Yes it`s on the road and I use it regularly.
Jobs that I want to do, replace dials and switches, replace steering box and column, polish wheels, repaint underneath, and fit a stereo.
Hope this answers some of your questions.
If it has tyres or tits, it`s gonna give you problems.

Looks like a Sidewinder to me....but I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to Sidewinders/Predators.

It`s a hi from me on the forum Gary.  Hope the steering column arrived safely and will be suitable for you. May help if you shorten it a bit.   ;-)up ;-)up
