VW Engine - running when I took it off a few weeks ago.

Mexico AS 41 Twinport AD prefix (50hp). Genuine Solex 34 carb. NO END FLOAT

Recent fan and housing on the top half, new electronic distributor (SVDA), new coil, new proper HT leads, fresh plugs, oil and oil screen, recent fuel pump, new fuel filter, new LHS pushrod tubes (RHS parts included), new idle solenoid, carb cleaned and serviced inc. new throttle seals. SACHS clutch

Has rear engine mounts for fitting to a Camper.

The engine came on my Sandrail and having replaced/upgraded some of the parts I put about 200 miles on it before deciding to swap it for something water cooled. It ran OK but needed a tune to get rid of a slight hesitation. Some spares included.

Exhausts are not included, but a pair of chrome and rust cannons can be if you want them.

For forum members price is £680 + £60 for pallet shipping to most places but might be a tenner extra if you are very far north (or you can collect no problem!). Alternatively for £30 I can pallet it to Southampton for collection.

Going by Farmer Rob's advice he said £650 and up on my "What's it worth" thread.  I'd need to get about £800 on ebay to net £680, but I'll put it on there in a few days as it's sitting right where I need to put a welding table!

I think it's a good price for a turnkey 1600tp.
