I am looking at trying to sort out the front end such as where to place brake fluid reservoir etc and the new aftermarket fuel tank but as there are currently no mounting for anything at the moment if anyone has pics of what they have done please share to give me an idea please.

Twin circuit master cylinder fit a reservoir in the top.
Front fuel tank sits in the recess and hses beetle tank washers to clamp it down. Support brackets from top of front beam to under the body.

You were pretty much left to your own devices when it came to mounting the tank on the Kyote. Most constructed a framework of angle iron or similar to hold it. No photos sorry.

A Volvo 240 or Empi copy brake reservoir will fit straight on top of most dual circuit m/cyls.

This is the Volvo 240 reservoir on mine - fits perfectly on top of the VW Dual Master Cylinder



The guys over on the Muddy Side also put a cable tie around it as belt and braces to stop it moving

By all means use a cable tie. Belt and braces but in what is now 4 years of use over all sorts of terrain my aftermarket reservoir has never budged. (I did wonder if it would at first and checked after each drive for yonks). Cannot remember now if it used two small diameter bungs or the smaller version...

I also have the resivour fitted into the master cylinder (no tie wraps either), i changed the sterring for a double uj setup and  modified the fuel tank to centre fill along with removing the corners to fit under the bonnet.

ultimately,  every buggy is different in the way they get built, but I learned loads from those who have years owning and building here on the forum.
