Buggy pub problem resolved. After our unfortunate double booking of the room at The Red Lion, I now have it officially in writing that it's booked for the first Thursday in the month for the rest of the year

Good work there Vanessa best we go every month then but we need to avoid other thursday evening distractions like driving to IBW weekends which must have meant a near empty pub.
