Hi, I'm looking for some advice on putting twin carbs on a 1600 engine which is in a Manx buggy, are there any issues with clearance if I was to put Weber ict34s on?
Which is the best linkage to use as well?
Are these the best option or is there a better carb around?
I'm running a standard 1600 engine at present, with a single soles carb and dual cannon exhaust, currently it runs very rough, I just want to make it smoother and more usable.

I run ICT34s and they are OK although many say they are not that good.  I have a Doon and hex link fouled the tub so I went for the CSP crank, works well if you get a good one but joints can be tight - seem not made to normal CSP quality
Cannons - look good but are not the best exhausts

I would start by trying to find out why it runs rough, unless you know the carb is knackered just chucking new ones on may make no difference

By  the way, welcome to the forum, worth posting a hello in the newbie section and telling us a bit more about your Manx, where you are etc. Might be someone just round teh corner

A standard set up should run fine, you have cannons on are the heat risers connected and the pipes and inlet getting hot?
A good engine tune is the first step no good putting twin carbs on if there is another problem causing the rough running.
