On Sunday I came across the Oil Can Cafe ..... what an amazing place.  From the outside looks like nothing .... but inside... WOW so many old cars, motorbike, pedal bikes, toy cars and of course Oil Cans!

The Cafe its self is really good in a 50s / 60s theme.   And this Thursday they have a meeting .... so weather permitting I am going (and Dave and Jools).

Why that night...!!!!  I can't make it, but I have been wanting to go here for a while, I know they have there own car club scene there.  Perhaps a place for the Northern Buggy Club meets ?

I was shock walking around the workshop area ..... at least 5 E Types, several MGs, Morgans and then some interesting American stuff.... it just went on an on.   They have a MK1 Escort fully stripped that looked really interesting ...... I loved it!

So yes Andy a def place to make the Northern Buggy Club real.....  but they are moving!   Some time in August apparently and going to a bigger place! So there may be some interesting things coming up as the get to their new place.  I am now following them on Facebook and have subscribed to their newsletter.

Shame you cant make it as its a really nice and easy drive to get there.... but there will be a next time.

Sounds, and looks from the photos, amazing.  But Thursdays is a big no no for me, certainly at short notice.
We will get together sometime though.

What a fantastic event this was!   It is now the home of the Northern Buggy Club!  Well it is for a couple of months until it moves!  :'( :'( :'( :'(  Then we will have a new home!!!   :) :) :) :) :)

So many cars turned up on a Thursday night - it was fantastic.  I have not sorted my pics thing out yet so hopefully a FB link will work https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10154504723121058&set=pcb.10154504724801058&type=3&theater    Not sure if that just gives one pic or all.....  I will check after posting.

We will be organising more trips here / at the new location
