Yes I'd give 'Hunters Hardy Monument Tour' a thumbs up !

My money is on Dave DND being a fountain of info on this topic as a couple of years ago I recall he took up welding and became an advocate. He did a course so that may be the first route to both get basic experience but also try out the different techniques.

Welcome Steve.

At least the colour doesn't need any work !

I recall Dave DND upset some Fiat fans when they spotted he had re purposed a Fiat screen for a mere beach buggy.

Some more snaps of the Thursday to Sunday Dorset adventures.

Pretty sure Vanessa meant to write that Micky’s wife DOES exist !

Yes I can only heartily second that. The extremely welcoming, relaxed and generous hospitality was second to none.

We arrived in a down pour and were made to feel like long lost relatives and then later when there was some blue sky Hunter entertainingly escorted us back to “Dorch” via Hardys Monument.

Hunter and Carole appear to have found their spiritual home tucked into the Dorset hills.

Weather doesn’t look too friendly tomorrow but previous ideas were a walk up Maiden Castle, drive through Poundbury and a bbq at Hunters at Winterbourne Steepleton at 1pm.

We will see how it looks come 10am then unless it’s torrential I think we will head across to Dorchester...

Swanage is upping its standards and literally clamping down on questionable vehicles. This one apparently - so a passerby told me - for being an offensive colour.

Bad luck. Makes you want to punch the person who set you up...

So the buggy ID is that has been a speedster is the one actually stamped on the chassis not the one on the riveted plate that is now a MantaRay ?

I ask because I thought the one on the chassis came back as a blue beach buggy on SORN.

Hugh bnb on site

Paul its quality not quantity and you've caught the colourful characters bringing up the cruise rear topped ( 'bottomed' ?) off by a rather relaxed looking Allan.

Like the mirror image combinations.

And thanks again for the magnets which can only help - if only to assist keeping the MantaRay stuck together !

Are you still in the NW ?

What is on the list to do and what do you need ?

Many terrific images here Vanessa along with a few humiliating ones aimed at me !

They capture the varied action and atmosphere of the time in and around the campsite as well as the generally 'alert' social distancing.
