Hi, I had some machining done on my wheels by Lee at WAG Engineering in Smethwick,  a small place but may be worth a try. ;-)up

Thanks for organising the tickets Hugh, was a great day with a brilliant pitch, can you request the same spot for next year?! :D

If you want something off the shelf, Kingfisher Kustoms do a rear 4 point show type cage for about 150, also a 6 point for about 280 on their website.

I know what you did last Summer . . . / Re: Midland Ride Out

Sorry but we won't be able to join you as we already have plans. Hope the weather holds out for you ;-)up

Thanks Hugh for sorting it all out today, had a great day. It was good to see such a variety of retro cars and cousins! ;D

Beach Buggy Engine and Exhaust Help / Re: Polishing a stainless exhaust
« on: August 16, 2018, 09:49:44 PM »
Followed Keithmanx's recommendation and tried Autosol Bluing Remover. Must say I am really impressed with it, took some really bad stains off my exhaust in no time that would have taken ages polishing by hand. ;-)up

Beach Buggy Rolling Chassis Help / Re: What tyres? 225/60 R15
« on: August 09, 2018, 08:50:33 AM »
slight miscalculation 225/60x15 should be about 25.6" tall, not 26.04" ;D

225/60x15 should be around 26.04" diameter or 651mm
225/70x15 should be around 27.4" diameter or 696mm
the 70 aspect ratio would be 45mm taller than the 60 series tyre  ;-)up

Was a great weekend even though we came home on Saturday evening. Thanks to Hazel for arranging it, Snoopy for the great drive route and to every one else who made it what it was!
