VW Parts For Sale / Exhaust header 4 into 1
« on: March 11, 2020, 02:56:12 PM »
Listing this on behalf of a guy down the road from me who has an old 4 into 1 exhaust header. Listing it here as a few people have been looking for these of late.

Not the prettiest one out there and could do with a lick of heat resistant black paint - no headers, just what you see.

He is looking for around 25 for it   (I reckon he would take 20 though  :-X ) and postage would be 7.50

VW Parts For Sale / "Beetle" for sale - may help with V5 issues !!
« on: February 10, 2020, 02:46:41 PM »
Its an unproven one as yet, but for those of you running about with "Beetle" on your V5, then why not stick this badge on the back of your Buggy.

The running gear is Beetle, The Paperwork says Beetle, and now . . . So does the badge on the back !!

Problem solved !

These are not the cheesy plastic ones, but proper metal letters that are individually stuck on  120mm x 20mm

I have a few of these left  9.99 including postage

« on: January 28, 2020, 10:16:37 PM »
Looking for a 1303 or 1302 steering column - Inner / outer / support bearings and Universal joints

Not bothered with switch or ignition gear

Anything?   :-\

Beach Buggy Rolling Chassis Help / Help with White lettering
« on: November 18, 2019, 10:56:02 PM »

I know a similar conversation was on here a while back, but cannot find it.

Looking for a longer lasting alternative to the el-cheapo white lettering pen, and I recall that someone came up with something ?

I have a pair of Holy Grail 8" x 15" Slot mags for sale.  They are the American Racing ones that were made under license from Wolfrace (or other way around) and they are identical to the Wolfrace one in every way, both cosmetically and legitimately

They are 5 stud Chevy / Jag fitment - BUT . . . As you can see there is also included a pair of 4 x 130 stud adaptors so that they will bolt straight onto the standard Beetle axles. Centre caps are also included.

The condition is pretty good as you can see with no kerbing, welding or damage, and I have run these ones on my own Buggy to ensure that they are straight and true. They could really benefit with a clean and polish, but wouldn't take much to get them back to pristine condition.

Looking for around 475 for the Pair from club members before I list them on the bay of E

The International Buggy Weekend of 2019 was to be hosted in Holland, the venue of both my first and favorite back in 2014. From the minute it was announced, I was so excited and have spent the last few months thinking about the trip with my mates, meeting up with old euro friends, the utter madness of our Dutch hosts, and ultimately what to call my story at the end of it. I went through many silly names, and upon my return back to Blighty after an awesome trip, could only think of one " What else could have possibly gone wrong? ".

Without exception, everyone I have spoken to has had a really tough year, and this trip was always going to have an element of sadness because one of our tribe was missing. Chad, however, found a great way to ensure that our good mate Paddy would still be with us for this journey with his fantastic T-Shirt design. Good News, Paddy was now with us.

The scene had now been set for what would ultimately be our most memorable trip abroad, albeit for the wrong reasons.

So grab a brew, stick your Stroopwafel on the top and let me tell you a tale of what it truly means to be a part of our Buggy Community.

VW Parts For Sale / 295 x 50 x 15 Tyres
« on: March 17, 2019, 08:53:55 AM »

I have a pair of old 295 x 50 x 15 tyres here looking for a new home.

They hold air just fine, but as you can see the tread is just starting to crack between the chunks. Not too serious though, but needs pointing out
you may well get a summer out of them?
but I bought them, and am now selling them for those who are "mocking up" a project for size, as that's exactly what I have been using them for.

Looking to haggle around 40 for them (before I sell them on VZi to an idiot for double that)

Too big and heavy to post (been quoted 25) so collection from Paignton
