I have one 1600 twin port, don`t recall which side as I type. You are welcome to this foc if it helps. It`s just laid in the shed doing nothing.

Remember everyone check what deal Dave can get in November but also cross reference that with Tesco Clubcard vouchers as you get 3x value of vouchers might be cheaper  ;-)up

Thanks Rob - I saw the 1600 one's today too. Might be an idea and save my dremel! ;D

No worries on the centre sections - i need either a Weber 32/36 shape like I have or a bigger bore single, so can't use the ones you have. Cheers anyway, 'tis appreciated.

The setup I have is working fine now, happy with that - probably have to sort some heat mods soon, but playing with jets has it running well currently, albeit a little slow and tired.

Off on a slight(!! ;D) tangent with my 15 year old son looking at Design Technology projects, hence the parts requests - don't want to mess with stuff currently on the buggy...

Hi Andy, I did spot a pair of 1600TP manifold ends on ebay last night. I thought you had a Weber 32/36 set up on your engine when you got it ;D So what set up are you going for? I have or had a couple of center manifolds for a single Weber 40idf or dellorto 40drla, if they are any good to you and also a 1300TP center section. From my past experience, I would stick with a standard set up or go twin carbs. The single carb set up needs good heat risers and also a warm air feed if being driven in the winter other wise you get the carb icing up ;-)up

Thanks Rob, that sounds good.

Any chance you have either a Weber 32/36 centre manifold or one of the large bore PICT empi/CB performance centres resting at the back of the shed too? :D

Cheers,
Andy

We tend not to use the Eurotunnel, because at some point we need to sleep and leave the Buggies somewhere safe in an unfamiliar environment - the overnight ferry is brilliant for that, and the party atmosphere of us all traveling and cruising together for a good few hundred miles just cannot be beaten. The Ferry also takes us straight to our destination country.

But above all else, and this is the very important one . . . . .  we avoid France   bleugh

 ;)

I got a Euro tunnel price of 156 return,,

I have got a few 1300 one's, you are welcome to a pair. It is fairly easy to grind the ends out to fit the slightly larger 1600 center section :D

Ferry from Harwich are now on sale.

Will we get the Thursday night ferry to arrive hook on Friday morning and then get Monday overnight ferry home to arrive Tuesday morning

I will negotiate with Stena in November to see if we can do a deal - thats when they usually do them for us  ;-)up
