Hi guys, hope all is well. I'm finally busy with my engine, but seem to have come across a problem. When ever I start the buggy, cylinder 3 &4 is dead. As soon as I pull out both of the cords by a couple of millimeters, both cylinders fire up.

What couls be the problem?

Caps on the plugs screwed on properly?

Swap your plugs over from 1 and 2........does the problem move with them?.....my guess is dodgy plugs......

you may have broken leads if they are carbon centres and not copper wire.
as said tyr swapping leads and plugs it will just depend on the length of the leads.

I swoped it with brand new leads, but I'll swop the spark plugs tomorrow.

Soooo, it was only bad spark plugs.... Feel like a real @hole.... Thanks for all your help guys.

Bet they were made by bosch, once a maker of quality products.

Yep......now its NGK, all the way, hay......
I had exactly the same, hence having an ickling it was the plugs.
Glad you sorted it.
