Getting it nice and warm helps too. Space heater etc.

Also taking your time. Don't crank it all the way down at once, but do more smaller tightening allowing the shell to adjust to it's new positioning over a week before tightening again

Body is now bolted down onto home made neoprene foam gasket ontop of nylon shaped strips sikaflexed to the pan. The reason for not wanting to pull the body down is the 30x30x3 box section welded into the channel underneath, absolutely no flex in the pans.

Buggy is coming on nicely now and have made a start on wiring with all LED lights, bonnet has been on and off a few times trial fitting for clearances and why is it so daunting drilling holes in sparkly fibreglass.
