Hmm well despite a year of no claims, adding 2 daily drivers AND house insurance....  my buggy's gone UP 25%  :(  -yes there was a little extra for change of engine but all the same seems a bit steep! Q249TEP

I must be getting old! My renewal with Flux keeps getting cheaper and cheaper and wonder if this year Cherished can offer anything better!

Does anyone bother with the 'Legal Expenses' option on their buggy insurance i.e. is it a good idea?
Fast, cheap, and goodÖ you can only ever have two! If itís fast and cheap it wonít be good. If itís cheap and good it wonít be fast. If it itís fast and good it wonít be cheap! Pick two words to live by...

Same here never bothered with it but the house insurance has legal advice and cover included on the policy. No need to pay for duplication especially on something I have never used.

Legal cover is one we recommend as important as breakdown, especially with these types of vehicle. Reason being if you do have an accident in a buggy... you are likely to hurt yourself and legal cover is covering you for medical costs, loss of earnings due to time off work etc, our cover (although other insurers may vary) covers up to £100,000.

It's important to note that Home legal and Motor Legal are 2 separate things... Home legal will cover things like boundary disputes etc. You can still use legal cover if it's not on your policy but if you don't have legal on your policy then that legal company will take a percentage of the pay out, by paying the £31 to have legal on your policy you avoid this.

Hope that info helps!

Carlie
