Have I got the wrong alternator backing plate?

So guys, I've got a new backing plate for my alternator which has a hole in it. My old one does not hsve yhe hole. Have I ordered the wrong part?
The hole I'm referring to is the one at 12 o'clock.

That could be it Paul. Will have a look see when the rain stops although a grommet has done the job for many years
