My engine, No F2078371, a single port 1300 which is now 1600 came with a 30pict3 carb. Am I correct that the jetting below is too lean, even for a 1300 and what should they be?

main jet=117.5   pilot/idle=g40  air correction=170  aux/power=g47.5

My guess

main jet=125  pilot/idle=g55  air correction=125  aux/power=g47.5

What cha' think?

Rob and Dave's aircooled VW site has some great info on it and it has got what size jets to use on various carb's and for what size engines. What I did find on there site however, is that they have got the power jet location mixed up with the idle jet. The idle jet is the one that points out to the side of the vehicle and the power jet sticks out at 45 degrees, ie points to the corner of the vehicle.
