Lawson I was going to give my long suffering butler the weekend off but if he came I wouldn't want you getting used to the high life.

With all the shows being cancelled / postponed by promoters this year, I guess we ought to think seriously about our own one here.

With the "anticipated" time period being banded about at teh moment of "around 3 months" lockdown / restriction, then this is not much more than that in reality.

What do you think guys?  Postpone it for a new date to be decided in the late summer / autumn ?  Cancel it now? leave it running and think later?

My option would be cancel the date as we have it and decide a new date when we are then allowed back out to play

Thoughts?

A hard one Dave the NEC has rescheduled shows from now to July  unless they have to postpone again.  Folks are missing their meetings I will have a chat with Annabel in a few weeks unless they announce a complete country wide lock down.
spread around an open camping field and keeping social distance should be ok the cruise out is ok like other driving but the stops may be a problem.
The caravan club is keeping sites open but closing the cafes and social areas on the sites.

I say leave it some have paid and obviously wonít get their money back as it wasnít actually a group group thing worse case scenario we still in lockdown and individuals can decide to go with distancing from others .

I will be going even if on my own will look forward to the break
Apparently I'm having a mid-life crisis....Lasted 30 years thus far.

Fingers crossed this could be perfect timing. Hang tight for the moment I'd say.

As it's a smaller in house decision that has to made here I also think we should hang fire on calling it off, the situation is obviously going to get worse and restrictions are going to get tighter,Although I personally can't see the weekend taking place, there is a very big chance that the decision will be taken out of our hands as the site may be forced to close and for those that have payed an offer of alternative date or refunds may be given. There is plenty of time left to make a decision at a later date.
Have fun. Be lucky

I agree with mercury here, play it by ear. Dont know if pam will be allowed out by then as she has to self isolate.
I'm in my buggy,
It's raining,
I really don't care.
