The bottom line is stick to the limit you won't have a problem

An awful lot of the roads are 50 rather than the 60 norm elsewhere

The benefit is you do get to see the scenery a bit better ☺️

Great to see everyone. Sorry we didn't say bye, lost everyone in the junkyard and headed home

You had to be there to understand  :D :D

Thank you Dave and Lyn for an impeccably organised and executed cruise that swept us through hill and dale, past rolling scenery and plenty of waving friendly faces....and all without losing anyone.

17 buggys at peak time in the peak district with increasingly lovely weather, one birthday (Dougs) and only one mechanical failure (my clutch cable) but an excess of ability to sort it.

Good to see so many families, walkers and cyclists out in the countryside like normal...

Thanks to everyone who came, chatted and thereby contributed to the crack.

The journey up on Friday - it started to rain 5 minutes after arrival

I spent most of my time following Vanessa - especially on Dave & Lyns 30 miles excursion.

Allan, Vanessa and Dave Mayer kindly stopped to help get me back to the camp (Keith came and towed me 6/8 miles) when my clutch cable snapped

Watching repairs became a spectator sport on Saturday afternoon

Then home in the sun today - always reassuring to have Allan in the rear mirror

Great to see everyone, thanks for the kind comments about the cruise, we can hopefully go a lot further into this beautiful area next year.

NB. No sheep were molested during the cruise, can say about later though

Guys that looks so great, every thing that you guys got up to and shared.

What you did soo reminds me of the SDBC picnic gatherings from years ago.

Just to see all those terrific pictures gave me a great feeling siting here looking at and reading your posts.

Glad the weather helped out and you guys had a great gathering.

Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it, just pee on it and walk away.

Thanks Hunter - always room for another buggy, especially yellow ones. We were short of Southerners...

The cruise was so well organised and run essentially always turning left that 17 buggy’s never got separated, lost or confused, and as luck would have it I think only once did a car get into our parade.

Many terrific images here Vanessa along with a few humiliating ones aimed at me !

They capture the varied action and atmosphere of the time in and around the campsite as well as the generally 'alert' social distancing.

Another successful  weekend at Ashbourne, it was really great to meet up with everyone again, both Sue and myself thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.  I only took 3 photo's  I'm afraid and even then only with my phone whilst driving.

fine mixed boys

Have fun. Be lucky

Paul its quality not quantity and you've caught the colourful characters bringing up the cruise rear topped ( 'bottomed' ?) off by a rather relaxed looking Allan.

Like the mirror image combinations.

And thanks again for the magnets which can only help - if only to assist keeping the MantaRay stuck together !
