Had some time and looked at some old stuff on the SDBC web site so I thought I would stick it on here if you want to have a look.  ;-)up

Brought a lot of fantastic memories and encouragements from the past, still really grateful to them all. ;-)(-;

Next we had a go at the wheels as things have been parked up and off the road for over a year now so they needed a bit of a tickle.

Then swapped the engine over just for this year hopefully. (From 1835 to 1641, gonna refresh the 1835)

Had to remove the fitted fuel pump as I had an electric pump on the buggy, found pressure issues as the 1641 has a single carb but the 1835 has duel carbs and I needed to reduce the fuel pressure so had to fit a pressure gauge.

Finally managed to get the roll bar back from the metal platers as I wanted the chrome removed as it was badly rusted and I felt like having a change.

agree looking good down there, Steves fuel tanks are a bargain price for one off manufacture even compared to an after market beetle tank you need to modify.
