Don't worry Dave unregistered nurse Vicky will be close at hand to adminsiter suitable 'medicine' to anyone breaching Government health guidelines.

Surgeon Snoopy will likewise prevent anyone attempting to carry out non regulatory practices on their buggy's.

We hope you have had any questions you may have had regarding the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show, with Discovery answered while looking through our website. If you haven't found what you are looking for, hopefully, this page will help. If we still haven't answered your question, please send us an email to restoration@clarionevents.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have concerns about coronavirus, where can I find more information?
Following the global outbreak of COVID-19, Clarion Events is continuing to monitor the latest public health and government advice for each of our markets around the world and acting in accordance with government and public health advice and World Health Organisation (“WHO”) guidelines. We support the stance taken by the Global Association for the Exhibition Industry, UFI and remain committed to delivering our events in a safe environment.

Unless otherwise advised, our events are taking place as scheduled.

The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority.  We strongly urge exhibitors and visitors to refer to the guidelines and protocols as suggested by the WHO www.who.int and local /national public health authorities to contain and mitigate against any further spread of the virus.

If you have any concerns and are feeling unwell, or have visited affected areas within the last 14 days you may wish to reconsider your attendance at the event.

As a precaution, we are implementing a range of additional hygiene and communication measures at all of our events:

Increased cleaning and disinfection programme across all high-volume touchpoints, e.g. catering areas, surfaces, handrails, WCs, entrances/exits, public touch-screens etc., along with the use of cleaning/sanitising materials and products.
Onsite medical support will be available.
Availability of sanitising and disinfection materials for public use
Awareness and training to all staff on standard personal preventative measures, e.g. personal hygiene, frequency of use of sanitising/disinfection products, etc.
We will be installing signage onsite reminding attendees of personal protection recommendations.
Implementing a microphone and glass disinfecting and change protocol for all speaker sessions.
We will have additional cleaners allocated to our feature area.
Where possible we are providing alcohol-based hand rub in the event space but you may wish to consider bringing your own alcohol-based hand rub to have available for your staff and visitors on your stand
We are enhancing cleaning in the general event space but you may wish to consider bringing your own cleaning materials so you can disinfect your stand more frequently (please ensure all cleaning materials are disposed of safely)

We welcome customers who wish to participate in our events and who are not impacted by travel restrictions.  However, please check the latest travel advice and entry guidelines for the country to which you wish to travel before making arrangements. For example, several countries have imposed travel restrictions to and from mainland China.

Please be assured, we are monitoring the situation very closely and will follow up with customers if the situation develops.  If you have any specific event questions, please contact our customer service and show team.

It would appear that many shows are pulling out of the NEC at the moment

Practical Classics still looks ok at the moment, but worth keeping a check on the main NEC Website for updated info

Important information regarding the show

It is with great sadness that Clarion Events has decided to postpone the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery.

The event team have been continually monitoring the latest public health and government guidelines regarding the evolving COVID-19 situation and acting in accordance with their advice.

The safety and wellbeing of our visitors, exhibitors, partners, contractors and staff is the most important factor and therefore the only action for all involved is to postpone.

We are working with the NEC to find suitable options to reschedule the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show with Discovery, please bear with us as we work to secure a new date line.

Tickets already purchased will be valid for the rescheduled date. We will be in touch with all our visitors as soon as we have more information to share. We will keep you updated via our newsletters, website and social media channels.

We are truly sorry that we have had to make this extremely difficult decision and thank you all for your patience, understanding and support in this unprecedented situation.

Classic Car Auctions will be running their auction at the Warwickshire Event Centre. Please visit www.classiccarauctions.co.uk for further details, including how to view and bid.
