Buggers,

I know a similar conversation was on here a while back, but cannot find it.

Looking for a longer lasting alternative to the el-cheapo white lettering pen, and I recall that someone came up with something ?

Too much stuff on this site Dave. You're  victim of its success !

I recall the chat and there was something on ebay: Tyre Art Lettering Pen White Paint in a Pen

But searches with fewer words might give more paint options.

I think Arran, Hunter, Gordon and others from the smart buggy set had ideas. Some wag (Snoopy or you ?) posted multiple coloured tyres.

Before painting I'd recommend asking Vanessa to clean the surfaces to ensure longer lasting lettering...
Hugh

Wag was not me, has anyone used rubber based or rubberised paint for their tyre lettering?

I've tried all sorts of marker pens and paint to make the letters look good. They look good for a couple of outings then it starts to peel. Looks just as good if you clean the letters with bleach  ;-)up

Agree, but I`m looking to colour some non-white letters on another project rather than clean my existing ones

I painted the numbers on my sockets and inside the stamped logo's of my tools because im a tit and they've lasted great.

Hi finally used the Toma marker pen, I am no expert but easy to use, and a good price, wish my hand was a little steadier. 😀
