Hi. We are FlatOut Customs. We are a VW restoration company moving into manufacturing side of the business. This our first product. A shorten floor pan for the beach buggy wold. The floor pan is made from 18 gauge 1.2 mm thick steel and fits 14 1/2, 14 1/4 and 15 1/2 buggy's. And thats all out of one pan (just trimming required). We have incorporated many simple design features that we feel will benefit you. These includes adding the pedal stop bracket plate mounting hole and ribs on the RHD floor pan, removing the battery tray depth to give better ground clearance if you stray off road, a bigger surface area at the back to allow better fitment of aftermarket seat and much more.
And to go further we have decided not to coat our floor pans in the black packaging paint but in a high grade marine epoxy primer. So all you need to do is re apply to the area you have ground off for welding, sand everything with 240 grit sand paper and coat with your choice of chassis coating.

The pans cost 250.00 each inc VAT and come in purpose built FOC box.

Below is several pictures of our floor pans in their naked stage with no epoxy primer on them.

This our floor pans coated in epoxy primer.

I recommended these pans to a local restorer who is working on a Mantaray.  Really nice thick quality  ;-)up
